Born in New Orleans, Brandi Shelton (AKA 'the tea lady'), grew up with a grandmother that had a concoction for every aliment. While traveling abroad, Brandi found herself visiting tea rooms as a way to learn the lay of the land and meet new friends over a cup.

Back in the States, blending tea leaves with a little bit of fruit or herbs became her way making the perfect cup. Brandi decided she would make fun and fanciful blends and share it with the world and just add honey tea company was born. Since 2006, she's blended what feels right and tastes delicious. Simple but innovative, with lots of love!

Brandi and just add honey have been featured in Essence, New York Times, Black Enterprise, MSNBC, Travel Noire, AJC, and dozens of other print and news television publications. 

Mr. just add honey, Jermail Shelton, offers a smile, kind words of encouragement, and is the perfect taste tester! Joining the company in 2008 when he said "I do" to 'the tea lady', he juggles wholesale accounts, mobile tea bars, online sales, and daily operations. When there's a minute of down time, you can find Jermail enjoying time with the family, traveling, kayaking, or hiking.
